Perennial Spirea - Medium 24" - plant 18" apart. Astilbes lend a refined grace to the perennial border. Lush deeply cut foliage is attractive for the entire season. Airy plumes in the summer move with the slightest breeze. Effective anywhere with rich moist soil and partial shade. Bright scarlet-red plumes above medium green leaves with dark stems. Flowering late June. Deer resistant.
