Globe Thistle. Silver white flower heads with reddish stems on this compact grower. Medium 32" - Plant 16" apart. zone 3-8 Very coarse silver-grey foliage lends a nice contrast to the mid border. A bold, tall plant that is highly ornamental with silvery pointed foliage and deeply divided green basal leaves. Provides carefree late summer color. Does well in any soil and drys well for winter bouquets.
