Eryngium Planum (Flat Sea Holly)

Eryngium Planum (Flat Sea Holly)
Low clumps of broad leaves give rise to blue stems, bracts and flowers. Medium 24-36" - Plant 20" apart. zone 5-9. The color persists into winter and when cut and dried after the blue has fully developed, is excellent for dried arrangements. Does well in a dry spot. Unusual texture and thistle-like blue flowers. Nearly evergreen, great for drying and cutting.
