French Lace - Pelargonium crispum 'Prince Rupert' var
Pelargonium crispum 'French Lace' (Lemon Scented Geranium) - Upright growing herbaceous sub-shrub to 1-3 feet with crinkled, pale-green leaves that are larger than in the species (P. crispum), margined in cream on long upright stems - foliage has a strong lemon scent. Small lavender flowers are rarely produced. Plant in well drained soil or in a container and protect from frost. Pinch to keep compact - size can also be controlled by keeping in a container. This beautiful geranium rarely blooms but is grown for its ornamental leaf and strong lemon scent. Use it in fruit cups, teas, or preserves, potpourri and herbals.
