Golden Seal is native to Canada and Eastern US and only now is rarely found in nature due to over collecting. Our grower has it grown for him in Minnesota. It is a woods plant, requiring moist, humus-rich soil and shade. It is a great antibioltic and can be used for various treatments both externally and internally.
