Bergamot Medium 30" - Plant 14" to 18" apart. zone 4-9 Large leaved, very mildew resistant foliage with berry red flowers. Sports wine colored highlights. Very attractive to Bees and Hummingbirds. Strong grower in the North, can be invasive in Southern gardens. Erect stems support uniquely shaped flowers. Good to excellent mildew resistance, but if plants are stressed by drying out, spraying for powdery mildew can be necessary. Deer resistant, Prefers a moist soil, Best selection for the coldest areas (zones 3&4).
